2013 Rainstorm Pinot Noir, Oregon
“Rainstorm is among the better values in Oregon Pinot Noir." -Wine Enthusiast
Color: Medium ruby red
Bouquet: Strawberry, rose hips and cranberry
Taste: Red berries, soft and elegant with flavors of bright cherry and pomegranate. Closer to a European wine than a California Pinot Noir in taste.
Vineyards: Willamette Valley & Umpqua Valley, Oregon. The soil is mostly volcanic origin with some alluvial deposits in the Willamette Valley.
To craft our wonderfully balanced Rainstorm Pinot Noir, we take advantage of Oregon’s diverse landscape by selecting grapes from our vineyards in the Willamette and Umpqua Valleys. With its cool, mild climate, the Willamette Valley of northern Oregon produces Pinot Noirs with an earthy, elegant style and complex flavors and subtlety. The hotter and drier climate in southern Oregon’s Umpqua Valley region produces Pinot Noirs bursting with brilliant, ripe, rich fruit flavors. The resulting wine is fruit-forward, soft and elegant with rosehip aromas and flavors of bright cherry and pomegranate.
We harvest our Pinot Noir grapes at about 22.5 Brix and then gently de-stem them before the maceration phase. Our macerations take about a week, to avoid harsh tannic flavors. The maceration ends with pressing and a full malolactic fermentation. After a rough filtration, the wine is put in contact with oak for at least 10 months.
Ideal with grilled salmon, duck, mushroom risotto and pork loin.
2013 Unparalleled Cabernet Sauvignon, Central Coast

This Central Coast Cabernet Sauvignon is the finest expression of this popular varietal. The rolling hills of the Central Coast provide excellent soil drainage and consistently dry summers create the perfect growing conditions for Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine is aged in oak casks for 16 months prior to bottling.
Vineyards: Grapes are grown in the Central Coast of California. The soil consists of sandy loam.
Unparalleled Cabernet Sauvignon is ideal with braised lamb with a balsamic reduction.
