This allows the fruit to mature and have a proper balance between fruit character and structure.

The grapes come from Lodi, CA. Wine Enthusiast’s “Wine Regions of the Year, 2015.” The vineyards that benefit from the deep and rich soils that make-up the Lodi Appellation. This allows the fruit to mature and have a proper balance between fruit character and structure. The fruit was harvested at optimal ripeness and was crushed and fermented in stainless steel vessels. The wine was then aged in experienced barrels and allowed to age for twelve months. The blend was then created and prepared for bottling. It has produced a fresh fruity style wine.

The aromas bring thoughts of fresh Bing cherry, raspberry, and strawberry combined with slight notes of vanilla and leather. It is a medium bodied, with nice layers of berry fruit, soft approachable tannins, and earthy structure with a good finish from balanced acidity; all of which lend themselves to good food and a good time. This wine could easily pair with cheese, pasta, red meat dishes, stew, chocolate, or as a stand alone glass of wine to be enjoyed.
