Rebranding
That’s right! A new name! Why? Well, we did some research, talked to some focus groups, etc., and we really just found that people weren’t so intrigued by the name Nancy Quinn. So we hired a team of writers to come something a little bit more exciting and a bit more proven when it comes to grabbing people’s attention. And currently, there’s just no name more exciting and attention-grabbing than, Del Rey.
Now, about the whole singer-songwriter thing. It works for some people, but with you, we’re just not seeing it. So, we’re going to tweak that a little bit, too. Instead of going with the traditional girl-with-guitar motif, we’re thinking we’d like to promote you more as of a bottle of 2008 Rey Maipo Valley Merlot.
Trust us: wine is the new music. People these days, they don’t want some soft heartfelt ballad about a relationship ending. They want a glass of wine that is elegant and rich in the nose. They don’t want music videos with choreographed dance moves. They want bold expressions of fruit and a touch of toasted oak, spiced notes and cherry aromas.
These days, the biggest stars aren’t on stage; they’re in bottles. So what do you think? Are you ready for superstardom… Copa?
