Now there’s no need to be jealous, Red Wines. You’ve had from Fall through Winter to be in the spotlight. We’ve had plenty of good times over the Holidays and curling up by the fire. But now that the weather’s starting to get a warmer, it’s time to give the White Wines their time to shine, don’t you think? It’s only fair that you get locked away in the cellar while we enjoy this Castoro Cellars Mixed White Case.
Lonely? No, you won’t be lonely down there in the dark. I’m sure the happy voices that come through the ventilation ducts as family and friends discuss the refreshing notes of the White Zin and Chardonnay will be enough to keep you company. Besides, it’s not like these balanced vinos will simply erase any memory of you. Not entirely, anyway. And yes, while the San Francisco Chronicle gave the 2014 Chardonnay a silver medal, that’s no reason to think we’ll care for its richness and tropical flavors any more than we care for you. Okay, maybe slightly more. It’ll be a nice change of pace is what I’m saying.
Now don’t get your corks all in a twist, Reds. We’ll be together again soon. As soon as the leaves start changing color again, I’ll call you, I promise. Probably.
Features
White Zinfandel continues to be one of the more popular wines especially during the summer months. Our White Zinfandel is made in a style that lends itself to being enjoyed with or without a meal. The wine’s bouquet is fresh fruit of strawberry, cherry, and watermelon. The flavors are delicate and full of the Zinfandel fruit, balanced with a slight bit of sweetness. This creates an off dry wine that is clean, smooth, and brisk in the finish. Enjoy it for sipping, picnicking, or with your favorite meals. It pairs great with spicy food too!

- Owner:
- Niels and Bimmer Udsen
- Location:
- Paso Robles, CA
One of the oldest wineries in the Paso Robles AVA, Castoro Cellars is said to have taken the backwards approach to developing a brand. The winery site was purchased in 1991, and within the past decade, existing vineyards were purchased and new vineyards planted.
