2011 Westerly Sauvignon Blanc, Happy Canyon, Santa Barbara 750ml 6-Pack
The Westerly Sauvignon Blanc is a classically styled Sauvignon Blanc. This racy white conveys an initial aromatic impression of vivid, ripe fruit. On the palate, bright acidity underscores precisely defined citrus and melon flavors.
The 2011 Sauvignon Blanc was harvested by hand in late August. Whole cluster pressed and fermented in both neutral oak and stainless steel. The finished wine was racked clean in early 2012 and blended with a small amount of Semillon. Cold stabilized and bottled in July 2013.

Westerly is focused on two distinct and separate sub AVA’s within Santa Barbara County, Happy Canyon of Santa Barbara and Sta. Rita Hills. The first being a warm region producing bold Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, & Merlot while the latter showcases the nuances of the cooler climate varietals, Pinot Noir & Chardonnay. Our wines express the unique characteristics and individuality of these wine regions.
The Vision: Owner & visionary, Roger Bower, is on the cutting edge of an emerging movement in the Happy Canyon of Santa Barbara AVA. He works closely with all aspects of management, marketing, wine making and farming. Winemaker Adam Henkel, who recently completed his 8th vintage at the highly acclaimed Harlan Estate Winery in Napa, joined Westerly to bring Roger’s vision to life. ”Roger and I have very high expectations and feel that we can help define Happy Canyon and bring a heightened level of awareness to this area; the potential here is unparalleled.”
