Named for the Norwegian goddess of love & fertility, this wine is pale straw in color, the nose begins with white blossoms and raw honey backed by a hint of melon rind. Swirling releases pear and honeysuckle with Marcona almonds. The palate is rich, broad and balanced, offering a creamy texture that balances the acid nicely. A hint of residual sugar is apparent on the palate, but it adds weight and leads the wine to the finish. This wine can go with almost any food, with the exception of the heaviest of meats because of the great acidity and the weight on the palate.
2009 Altruism Riesling 750ml 3-Pack
The 2009 Altruism Riesling captures the essence of this picturesque vineyard setting: pure beauty. At 1,650 feet elevation, it provides a remarkable setting and wonderfully expressive fruit. Whole-cluster pressed and fermented in stainless steel, the wine is loaded with ripe melon, green apple candy, citrus and classic Riesling flavors. The sweet notes are delicate, and the 1.6% residual sugar is carefully balanced with natural acidity to provide a great food-friendly Riesling.

2009 Dry Riesling 750ml 3-Pack
A darker golden yellow. The wine starts with a hint of the fusal oils to come, mixed with honeysuckle and a green a pie tart. With a little air comes a release of white blossoms and a delicious pastry like tone. The palate is rich and forward, showcasing the warm 2009 vintage but is balanced nicely with acid that is the hallmark of the Lawrence Vineyard.
2010 Altruism Pinot Gris 750ml 3-Pack
Pale golden yellow color, with a nose of honeydew melon, pineapple core and some waxy dried stone fruits. Swirling brings up more weight, but a spicy tone at the same time. The palate is clean, fruit forward and slightly off dry. The acidity balances the sweetness nicely and provides the framework for a great summer white.
