My patience has dried up!
I thought it was bad enough when I heard they had to kill all those little grapes just to make one bottle of wine. But now, running a creek dry just so you can enjoy a glass of red. Disgusting!
Think of all the wildlife that lived in that creek! All the fish and salamanders or whatever that lived off the creek’s intense fruit flavors reminiscent of black cherries, currants, and black berries. Think how would you feel if you were just swimming along one minute, through the rich and opulent palate, all those fruit flavors bursting around you, chocolate and vanilla oak notes and round, chewy tannins in the distance. And then, the next day, you’re just flopping around in a dry creek valley. It makes me sick!
Oh, that’s just the name? Hawley Winery Dry Creek Valley Red? Well then, where do I buy?
