Go on, have another. And another. And another.
For us, a Woot-Off means never having to say "don't you think you've had enough?" As long as you want more, we'll keep pouring. Until your order is delivered, the only intoxication you'll get will be the rush of saving money on great wine. But we've found that can be pretty powerful stuff.
Features
2010 Geyser Peak Chardonnay, Water Bend, Alexander Valley 750ml 6-Pack
Color – Pale yellow with a golden eye
Nose – Pear, quince, crème brulee, soft cheese rind and toasty vanilla oak
Palate – Full-bodied but with bright acidity to balance the viscosity. Nutty, yeasty notes mingle
with baked apple and streusel flavors. Notes of caramel, panna cotta, lemon meringue and toasted
bread round out the palate.
Food Pairings: Chardonnay is a perfect partner to roasted Chicken and baked fish dishes. Lemon-scented risotto with roasted walnuts and glazed prawns is an amazing pairing as it complements both the fruit and earth components of the wine.
Geyser Peak Block Collection wines are an expression of the unique growing conditions that exist within a handful of vineyards that consistently produce outstanding wines. Each Block Wine reflects the terroir-driven qualities of a unique site or “block’ within the vineyard.
