2013 707 Viognier, Dry Creek Valley, Sonoma County
This 707 Viognier is amazing on all fronts.  True small-lot winemaking at its finest. These special grapes are from a sunny, hillside, ultra-premium, Dry Creek vineyard. To enhance the aromas and the mouth-feel to epic proportions, a 2% touch of Roussane was added to the final blend. This is not your average delicate white wine, this is very rich, viscous and delicious.

A red wine lovers, white wine of choice!

Deep golden, almost honey in color.  With intensely layered aromatics of ripe apricots, and perfumed tangerine blossoms, with a hint of juicy pineapple and mint.
As stated above, the wine's texture is very rich, silky and complex with a flavor profile that includes white peaches, honeydew melon, some creamy vanilla and a twist of lime. The 707 Viognier showcases the best of Dry Creek Valley’s Rhône style wines.

Food Pairings: The 707 Viognier will complement meals of a weightier style than a typical white wine. Our suggestions would include: Butternut squash ravioli, linguini with clam sauce, or broiled lemon, herb pork chops.

2014 707 Gewürztraminer, Russian River Valley, Sonoma County
The pronunciation of the word Gewürztraminer is ‘ga-VERTZ-trah-MEE-ner’. This is a German word that is derived from a combination of two words: Gewürz, which means 'spice’, and traminer, which means 'coming from Tramin’.  Tramin being a small city in Germany. Even though Gewürztraminer is a white wine, the Gewürztraminer grape’s skin color actually ranges from pink to red. Gewürztraminer is one of the most pungent wine varietals, easy for even the beginning taster to recognize by its heady, aromatic scent.

The 707 Gewürztraminer is a wildly fragrant wine that will be sure to impress.  The aromas are a complex blend of rose petals, honeysuckle and apple blossoms.  The silky textures and bright, fresh flavors are interspersed with hints of ripe white peaches, pink grapefruit and a vibrant note of spice.  The  finish is quite lengthy and layered, with an interesting combination of citrus and honey that goes on forever.  The 707 Gewürztraminer is a medium-bodied, off-dry wine that proudly shows off its finesse and unique character.

Food Pairings: Gewürztraminer wines are an excellent match for fresh fruit and cheeses and a good complement to many simple fish and chicken dishes, especially recipes that include capsaicin (hot pepper) spices, oriental five spice, or even curry.

2013 707 Sauvignon Blanc, Dry Creek Valley, Sonoma County
The 707 Sauvignon Blanc grapes are harvested from exceptional Dry Creek Valley floor vineyards near Lake Sonoma.  This sophisticated Sauvignon Blanc is representative of the Dry Creek Valley soils, and a wonderful complement to the bounty this valley produces.

This wine has a straw-yellow hue with fragrant Sauvignon Blanc that is chock full of tuberose and other tropical flowers with citrus aroma as well. The fresh, invigorating flavors show hints of ripe melon, silky grapefruit, kiwi and more citrus of lemons and limes. This bright wine has a well-balanced acidity that is light bodied, with a pleasant mineral finish that would show off shellfish simply divinely. We like to call the 707 Sauvignon Blanc our summer sun in the bottle.

Food Pairings: The refreshing 707 Sauvignon Blanc would pair nicely with freshly prepared shellfish like oysters on the half shell, shrimp cocktail, cracked crab, ceviche or lighter style luncheon salads.
