Hail You, Ruler Of Your Domain And The Forest Surrounding
This momentous occasion deserves the royal treatment. But we’re not going to just throw up something called “Monarch Camelot” or something. We had to go for this 2005 CastelGiocondo Brunello di Montalcino. First, because it actually comes from a castle. And second, because it goes well with boar.
Never you mind that you might spend your entire life and never once actually find yourself eating a boar. You can’t live in the tyranny of maybes. You’ve got to plan ahead for what you want and who you want to be. And if the true you inside is a hero sitting in a castle ripping off a hunk of boar, then so be it! And why don’t you have two bottles of wine at the ready?
The CastelGiocondo Brunello di Montalcino is garnet-edged, a deep ruby red with a multi-layered nose of wild red berry, dried plum, black currant and blackberry. There’s hints of sweet violet, dogwood blossom, vanilla and spices. It’ll be soft in your mouth, but warm, and just acidic enough for a fine traditional beef stew, with potatoes, or maybe a well-aged cheese.
Even if you’re just sitting on the couch, the CastelGiocondo Brunello di Montalcino will make you feel quite regal. But if you’re lucky enough to throw your remote across the room and kill a wandering boar? Having a pair of CastelGiocondo Brunello di Montalcino bottles on hand is absolutely essential. So order now! Because the moment may never come, but if it actually does, you don’t want to see it slip away.
