2002 Ardente Cabernet Sauvignon Atlas Peak, Napa Valley 750ml 3-Pack
The 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon is a richly textured wine with intense, ripe flavors of black cherry, blackberry, plum and cassis. This full bodied wine is well balanced with moderate tannins and a long, expansive finish. The unique characteristics of this wine can be attributed to the conditions found only on Atlas Peak, with its rich volcanic soil, distinctive microclimate and 1500 feet elevation.

The harvest is intentionally delayed until the end of October to guarantee complete ripeness of the grapes. The resulting wine is then aged for eighteen months in French Oak barrels and is bottled unfined and unfiltered. The character and elegance of this Cabernet Sauvignon with its profound dark fruit intensity is then blended in complete harmony with the bursting cherry flavor of the merlot to produce 650 cases of Cabernet Sauvignon in 2002.
