the blood and the beautiful

Boy, these wines have a lot in common with the television show that shares the same name. And having seen all the episodes of that show, which appeared on [NAME OF CHANNEL], we are definitely prepared to identify some hilarious parallels between the show and these wines.

For example, have you ever noticed how [NAME OF MAIN CHARACTER] is elegant and luscious? Well these wines are also elegant and luscious! Hahahaha same thing.

It is also funny that [NAME OF ANTAGONIST] spent a lot of time doing [BEHAVIOR THAT CAUSED CONFLICT]. That’s sort of like how these wines spent time in French Oak barrels before bottling!

And hey, wasn’t it [ADJECTIVE] when [CHARACTER] was dealing with [PLOT POINT]? We’d say that’s comparable to the malolactic fermentation these vintages underwent to retain their creamy and buttery character! Nailed it!

As you can see, the wine and the television show which ended in [YEAR] are very similar! What a wacky world.

2011 Trueblood Chardonnay, Carneros, Napa Valley
Silver Medal, Long Beach Grand Cru 2015 Tasting

This artisan style Chardonnay was made from 100% chardonnay grapes from our vineyards in Carneros. The grapes were fermented in French Oak Barrels for 9 months before bottling, resulting in an elegant and luscious wine with apple, pear, and tropical fruits, with hints of spice, framed by caramel and creamy vanilla notes on the finish.

This vintage went through a partial malolactic fermentation enabling the wine to retain all the luscious fruit flavors while giving it a creamy finish.

Vampire Vineyards

Founded:
1985
Owner:
Michael Machat
Location:
Paso Robles, CA via Transylvania

Rumor has it that the Vampire Vineyards are actually owned by a circle of vampires and our company’s founder, Michael Machat, an entertainment attorney from New York, is actually just a front. Whether he and his convertible were commandeered by a Vampire is still a subject for debate. The truth may never be known, but we do know however that Michael first began talking about branding wine with the vampire mark back in 1985 after picking up a mysterious hitch-hiker on a late night drive through the pitch black Nevada desert.
