The Days Of Plum And Cherry
Plenty of corporations can’t figure this out. “What? The best soft drink in the world? Let’s make a new formula!” “Oh, wow! Our show’s a number one smash? Here are some notes for the writers!” “Say, this record went right to the top of the charts! But we don’t hear what we want in the second album.” And then, for some reason, they act all surprised when people wander away! Who knew that changing a good thing would upset the fans?
Thankfully, Truchard Vineyards knows when they’ve got a good thing. Take a look at this mixed 12 pack and you’ll see a 2002 Tempranillo, a 2003 Tempranillo, and a Tempranillo from 2004. A random assortment of each for a total of twelve, and guess what? They all taste of plum and cherry!
Of course, when it comes to subtleties, each vintage is different. The 2004 has notes of tea, tobacco and cedar, while the 2003 boasts plum jam, red currants and sweet vanilla. The 2002 covers all those bases, but also offers a lingering finish of red fruit, mineral and spice. It’s all a little different, but down where it counts, it’s the same!
The Truchard Vineyards Tempranillo 12 Pack shows Truchard Vineyards knows the great secret of a good product: leave well enough alone. Hopefully, we’ll never see a can of NuTempranillo coming down the pipes.
