Bottoms Up
No, it wasn't by accident. I've just been pouring it into a glass and drinking it. Like, once a night. For the past month. Sometimes, I'd have more than one glass. Sometimes, I'd even serve the Poizin to friends. On purpose. I know, I know! I'm a bad man!
Why do I do it? I don't know. Maybe it was the bright nose of plums, raspberry and blackberries. Or the overripe flavors of red-vine licorice, anise, spicy strawberry, and red currants.
What do you mean that doesn't sound right? Just because it's got a subtle vanilla and a smoky nuance doesn't mean it's not deadly! Listen, I know what I drank! I'm looking at the label right now! It says "2011 Poizin Zinfandel"!

2011 Poizin Zinfandel, Dry Creek Valley, Sonoma 750ml 4-Pack
Deep, dark garnet in color, the bright nose exhibits plums, raspberry and blackberries. The rich yet not overripe flavors of red-vine licorice, anise, spicy strawberry, and red currants are full-bodied and true to the varietal. The Petite Sirah in the blend contributes black pepper spice, racy acidity and firm structure, and gives this wine a rustic personality. The moderate oak contributes subtle vanilla and a smoky nuance. Enjoy this poizin with caution; it is The Wine to Die for!
