Technically, this wine is spoken for, but we might be able to work something out.
People sometimes ask us why we can't just give away our wine. They say, "Hey, Woot! I'd like some wine. Can I have it for free?" Well, we'd like to give it to them, but it's not that simple.
Take this Per Alessandra Italian Barbera wine as an example. Sure, we'd love to give you a free taste of its candied cherry and raspberry and subtle licorice, but we can't. Just look at the label. It's "For Alessandra"!
What are we going to tell Alessandra when we've just given you her wine? And for free no less? Just to accept some other, lesser barbera wine that doesn't taste as good? Some inferior wine that DOESN'T pair with pasta, pizza, and salami? Listen, if you want to be the one to break that to Alessandra, go ahead, but we'd advise you don't.
On the other hand, if you want to fork over $67.99, we might able to make a deal. That way we can buy something else for Alessandra. She really likes ranch salad dressing for some reason, and we could buy her like 20 bottles of ranch dressing for that amount of money. That way, Alessandra's happy, and you get the wine. Everybody wins!
