Weighing The Options

Why get this triple-pack of 2008 Pinot Noir? Because it's better than a triple-pack of a lot of other four-year-old things.

For instance, imagine if you had triplets who were born in 2008. And imagine they were boys. These wines would be much, much, much, much better than that hellscape scenario. Instead of yelling "Don't hit your brother" every thirty seconds, you would be savoring this wine's delicate nuance of truffles, knowing you had two more bottles to go.

Or imagine that instead of buying this wine you bought a three-pack of four-year-old Greek Yogurt. Sure, it's kind of cool that you have Greek Yogurt that predates the Greek Yogurt craze, but after that it really takes a nose-dive. Have you ever cleaned out your refrigerator and found yogurt that was, like, six-months old? Take how unpleasant that experience was, and multiply it by eight, and then multiply that by three for each yogurt container. Believe us, the wine is a much better choice.

What about a three-pack of large, aggressive dogs that have not been fed a real meal since 2008? Even if you're good with dogs, these guys will rip out your larynx at the first opportunity. Sounds awful, right? You know what would be much better? Some pinot noir.

2008 Moshin Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir 750ml 3-Pack

A harmonious assemblage of several vineyards located in the cool Petaluma Gap region of the Sonoma Coast. This wine exhibits an appealing nose of bright cherries, toast, a hint of vanilla and a nuance of truffles. Delicate texture and smooth mouth-feel contribute to the approachable nature of this Pinot Noir. Pretty and balanced, drink now through 2016.

Moshin Vineyards and Winery began in 1989 as the dream of Rick Moshin, a San Jose State University math instructor – and with the Moshin Family’s purchase of a ten-acre Pinot Noir Vineyard located in the Russian River Valley of Sonoma County, California. The Moshin Vineyards of today features a unique 4-tier Gravity Flow Winery and control of 28 acres of grapes – mostly Pinot Noir. The tasting room is open daily to the public and tours of the winery can be made by appointment.

The goal at Moshin Vineyards is to carefully guide the grapes through the winemaking process and bring you a wine that expresses a truthful view into the heart of the vine. Our farming methods are sustainable, winemaking philosophy is “minimally invasive,” and we have established energy-saving practices through the use of gravity-flow and solar energy.

We specialize in small lot, hand-crafted wines, which include Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Merlot, Petite Sirah and Zinfandel. Wine Club members enjoy our most exclusive lots, making membership a fun and special way to experience the artistry and dedication of our winemaking team.

The Moshin Family and our knowledgeable and friendly staff invite you to join us for a taste of wine country! Explore our website to discover more about our winery, Events, Photos, and fun things to do in the beautiful wine country of the Russian River Valley!
