Wine.Woot purchases now bypass your cart entirely! This means you gotta buy Wine.Woot items on their own, using your Amazon Payments account. You can't mix 'em up with stuff from our other sites. This cowboy's ridin' solo.

Be aware that anything in your cart from the other Woot sites is still out there and looking forward to your return. We'd hate for anything to sell out while you're reading this.

You missed it! But Today's Woot is waiting!

El Cip

It's a mouthful in more ways than one.

Its real name is Marqués de la Villa Tinta De Toro Juan Nepomuceno Gasset y Ortega de la Costa de la Santísima Trinidad Martyr los Alamos, but you can call it Marqués de la Villa Tinta De Toro.

You could also call it Tempranillo, but where's the fun in that? Tinta De Toro ("tint of bull") is so much more colorful and exotic. Especially this 2012 vintage from Marqués de la Villa: as red as a matador's cape, as fruity as a sun-splashed berry orchard. Yes, its name is long. But a wine as seductive as the Marqués de la Villa Tinta De Toro needs at least eleven syllables in its name, just to capture all that passion.

2012 Marqués de la Villa Tinta De Toro 750ml 6-Pack

This is a young red wine that is ample, tasty and persistent.  It has aromas of black and red fruits typical of the variety Tinta de Toro.  The wine has a red vivid cherry color with violet hints at the rim and is a well-structured and balanced wine.

Food Pairing: It‘s the perfect wine for everyday moments - with tapas, lunch and dinner at home or at any time with good company.

Top Comments are discussion forum posts we have deemed worthy of your time. Listen, we get a lot of comments, and most of the time, it's pretty forgettable stuff; but sometimes you rise to the top like butterfat in milk. We don't recommend you base your self-worth on how often we feature your comments, but we don't expressly forbid it either.
