2014 Roussanne, Sagemoor Vineyards
89 points, Wine Spectator
This light straw colored wine opens with pear, peach, lemon meringue, and baking spice on the nose. There is also an earthly chalk character to the nose for a touch of Old World style. On the palate, baked apple and apricot come forward followed by the aforementioned fruits from the nose. The oak sits in the background highlighting the fruit and works to smoothen the acid, leading into a long, filling finish of fruit and a touch of oak tannin. For the youth of this wine, the oak has integrated nicely and will continue to do so for a year. Drink now through 2023. 23% new oak.

2014 Sauvignon Blanc, Sagemoor Vineyard
86 Points, Wine Enthusiast
This wine is a marriage of both Washington and New Zealand styles of Sauvignon Blanc, i.e. fruity but still grassy. Tropical fruits of passionfruit and pineapple mix with the stone fruits peach and apricot and apple on the nose. On the palate, a pleasant mouthfeel with moderate acidity lead to lime, grapefruit, and pear that is secondarily taken over by the variety’s inherent grassiness. This is the perfect summer wine. Drink now through 2020.

2014 Riesling, Sagemoor Vineyards
Pale straw in color, this Riesling was produced with a German style in mind. Off-dry with a hint of that characteristic petrol nose, it exudes lime zest, red apples, and fresh linen. On the palate, apple, lime, and pear dominate leading into a long finish with mouthwatering acidity and basalt minerality. Drink now through 2030 (or beyond).

Walla Walla, WA
We source from premium vineyards to bring you wines that express a time and a place

The winemaker, Jason Fox, moved to Walla Walla in the fall of 2011 with one goal in mind: to learn how to grow grapes and make wine by attending Walla Walla Community College's Enology and Viticulture program. With that goal in mind, he was successful. During that period of education, he produced wine at the school and earned three awards for the wines he helped create. The first wine received a silver, second wine a gold, and third wine double gold and best of varietal/blend. The glory of these awards and the many others the school have received is shared by all of the students who had a part in crafting those wines.

It was also at College Cellars that he discovered his desire to make white wines. In that stead, he continues on the mission of crafting crisp, clean, and delicious white wines from some of the most respected vineyards and growers in the state.
