Wine.Woot purchases now bypass your cart entirely! This means you gotta buy Wine.Woot items on their own, using your Amazon Payments account. You can't mix 'em up with stuff from our other sites. This cowboy's ridin' solo.

Be aware that anything in your cart from the other Woot sites is still out there and looking forward to your return. We'd hate for anything to sell out while you're reading this.

The Heartbreak Of Misunderstanding

Chateau Bianca, sure. That's just Bianca's house, I been there. But Library Oregon? Where in the heck is THAT?

When I first met Bianca, I was all "Hey, sure, I love wine!" even though I never actually knew anything about wine really. But I do know what I like, and what I like is fruit and toasted oak, especially when it's involved with rich sauces, game, and salmon. And I was so happy when Bianca said that was exactly what SHE liked TOO!

But then she handed me a Chateau Bianca Library Oregon Pinot. And I was like "Oh! It's a clue!" And so I loaded up the car and set out on the road to where our little love nest would be. I figured it would smell like flowers and spice and earth overtones.

Guess I misread the signals. I searched for Library, Oregon for hours and found NOTHING by that name. I was so mad I just deleted Bianca from my phone right away. Now I've got 137 messages and a whole bunch of texts that read WHERE ARE YOU and PLEASE TELL ME YOU'RE ALIVE but whatever. Movin' on.

Features

2002 Chateau Bianca Estate Reserve Oregon Pinot Noir, Willamette Valley 750ml 2-Pack

This classic Burgundy style Pinot Noir has pretty floral, spice, and earth overtones.  The fruit character is well balanced with the toasted oak character and the well balanced tannins.  Delightful with rich sauces, game dishes, salmon, pastas and more.  This bottle aged beauty is a real treat for those who have never enjoyed an aged Pinot Noir.  Use a generous bowled glass to get the full aromatic effect.  Just remember, you can’t leave this one on the counter, open it and drink it!

The Wetzel Family
Location:
Dallas, OR
Chateau Bianca Winery is a family owned and operated winery established in the mid-1980’s. The annual production is intentionally small and committed to high quality, while simultaneously offering an exceptional value. The majority of the production includes Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, and Pinot Blanc. There is also a limited production of Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Marechal Foch, Chardonnay, Ruby Port, Vin de Glace, and Gluhwein, a hot-spiced wine from an old family recipe.

Originally from Germany, the Wetzel family has been producing award-winning wines for four generations. Thirty-five years of producing wine in Oregon has given them a unique insight few wineries share in this ever changing industry.

Winemaker Andreas Wetzel’s attention to detail consistently results in many prestigious wine awards. Andreas’ great-grandfather began wine production in the region of Wurzburg, Germany. This love of winemaking continues, four generations later, here in the United States.

The Willamette Valley with its gentle rolling hills and unique microclimatic sites allows Oregon to produce some of the finest Pinot Noirs in the world. Chateau Bianca Winery's estate vineyard is trained to a vertical upright canopy. This allows for shoot positioning, leaf removal and enhanced air circulation. This in turn, develops color and concentrates flavor in their wines. Their winemaking philosophy consistently produces superior quality wines with intense flavor profiles that are marketed at an irresistible value.

Top Comments are discussion forum posts we have deemed worthy of your time. Listen, we get a lot of comments, and most of the time, it's pretty forgettable stuff; but sometimes you rise to the top like butterfat in milk. We don't recommend you base your self-worth on how often we feature your comments, but we don't expressly forbid it either.
