Hi, I'm Cari Cature. I assume I was selected to represent Caricature because my name is coincidentally similar to the wine's name. It’s not my cartoonish nose and pachydermian ears. Nor is it my ample overbite. It definitely isn’t my massive hands attached to these tiny, tiny wrists. No, it’s just because of the amusing name similarities. Anyway, I’m just glad to be out of the attic for the day! Hungry?

Caricature wines are crafted from our estate grown and sustainable vineyards in the Lodi and Clarksburg appellations. The regions are known for their classic Mediterranean climate- as the day’s temperature rises, cool breezes drift from the delta keeping the nights cool which is ideal for our wine grapes.
As Caricature artists do their sketching on paper our winemaker creates hers in a glass. Caricature wines are crafted to embellish a distinctive characteristic of each wine grape while maintaining varietal distinction. Caricature wines are for everyday celebrations and are best enjoyed with family and friends.

Wine of character with great legs
Crafted from the most flavorful winegrapes of the 2013 vintage, our Red Wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (82%), Zinfandel (12%), Teroldego (2%), Malbec (2%) and Petit Verdot (2%). This rich wine has bright blackberry aromas and ripe, juicy fruit flavors of cherries and plums that meld with spicy oak. With soft tannins and a jammy finish, this is truly a delightful wine that is great for any occasion.

For five generations our family has been growing sustainable winegrapes in the Lodi Appellation and in 2006 we opened a winery to showcase our passion for growing winegrapes – because great wine starts in the vineyard. Building on our successes as a farm family, the winery was our first step into crafting wines.
Today, we use our distinct advatange of having control over the entire winemaking process - creating wines from our estate vineyards to the final packaged wine using our new, state-of-the-art bottling line. This enables a continuous line of quality from vine to wine.
