Special Effects
More and more these days, movies use CGI. Seems like every movie now is using some sort of CGI. Sometimes it can look really cool, but other times it looks flat out fake...
UNLESS you uncork a bottle of this C.G. Di Arie Southern Exposure Zin. We don't know what it is, but after drinking a few glasses of both the 2005 and 2006 bottles of this Zinfandel, the movies we were watching suddenly felt more real.
With each swig of the dark berry flavors and long finish of spicy notes and cardamom, we felt like we were watching a documentary. What magic was doing this, we weren't quite sure, but it was like there was something more than just grapes in there, and that something created a sensation where we were more apt to believing what we were watching.
So next time, before complaining that a movie looks too fake and you couldn't get into it because it wasn't believable, try accompanying your viewing experience with some of this C.G. Di Arie Southern Exposure Zinfandel. It worked for us, at least.
Features
C.G. Di Arie 2005 Zinfandel "Southern Exposure" 750ml 2-Pack
The “Southern Exposure” designation for our wines denotes that we feel the wine has very special qualities. This is the fourth year in a row that we are making this Zinfandel wine. Our 2005 version of this wine which was also made from grapes mostly coming from the Original Grand Pere Vineyard is worthy of becoming a member of the Southern Exposure family of wines.
The "Southern Exposure" designation for C.G.Di Arie wines denotes that they feel the wine has very special qualities. This is a complex and elegant wine displaying rich fruity aromas of dark berries combined with spicy notes and hints of black and white pepper. On the palate the dark berry flavors quickly crescendo to layers of black cherry, plum and cassis. The long finish has spicy notes with hints of cardamom which makes this wine very exotic. The 2005 “Southern Exposure” Zinfandel has the elegance and complexity found in wines of great pedigree.
This wine like most of our other wines was made in our Submerged Cap Fermentation Tanks. This method keeps the berries submerged in the wine during fermentation for better flavor extraction and softer tannins.
