All-New All-Different Wine.Woot Details

Wine.Woot purchases now bypass your cart entirely! This means you gotta buy Wine.Woot items on their own, using your Amazon Payments account. You can't mix 'em up with stuff from our other sites. This cowboy's ridin' solo.

Be aware that anything in your cart from the other Woot sites is still out there and looking forward to your return. We'd hate for anything to sell out while you're reading this.

You missed it! But Today's Woot is waiting!

Atlas Chugged

Sure, you COULD buy this Cabernet Sauvignon with Gift Box for someone else ... or you could explore your selfish nature, and give a gift to YOU for a change.

Are you not entitled to the fruits of your labors? And is not the best way to consume fruits by smashing it into wine? And what better way to carry that stylish fruit liquid than in a lovely gift box?

As you scale the peak of life, it will do you well to look back on your achievements and laugh at those who came up short. Drink from one of these three different Cabernet Sauvignons and enjoy the gift you've given yourself! You deserve the deep flavors of cherry and berry, the warm mouthfeel, the way the wine perfectly suits the steak and potatoes you earned by crushing others with your bare, train-building hands!

Or what about a gift for another? Sometimes, a nice Gift Box is the difference between the deal going to you or the deal going to some other, less-suitable altruist. A three-pack of wine in a box like this says "Yes, I'll turn on you should it suit me- but not today, my brother! Not today!" That's the kind of statement a businessman expects. That's the kind of statement a businessman can deal with.

Ultimately, though, the Atlas Peak Mountain Series does one thing and one thing only: it benefits you. Be it through a smooth mouthfeel in an evening's reflection, be it as part of a delicious dinner that someone else is paying for, or be it as a present for someone you love as much as a person of your drive is able, this is a three-pack that will never stop giving.

Like a sucker.

2006 Spring Mountain District Cabernet Sauvignon 750ml
Due to its position in the valley, the overall growing season on Spring Mountain tends to be slightly warmer than other Napa mountain AVAs.  These growing conditions provide Spring Mountain with considerable versatility; creating the perfect blend of climate, soils and exposure for growing Cabernet Sauvignon.  The wines from Spring Mountain often display more moderate, but substantial, fruit definition, and a suppler mouthfeel than the same grapes from other Napa Valley mountain appellations.
This 2006 Spring Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon shows deep red, purple color and lots of soft tannins, wrapped in intensely rich red stone fruit.  It pairs perfectly with rosemary crusted rack of lamb and grilled asparagus.

2006 Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon 750ml
The 2006 Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon holds true to site with its impressive balance and deep coloring.  The aromas are a combination of ripe dark cherry and berry fruits.  These powerful fruit flavors create a long, lingering finish of rich blueberry on the palate, a velvety mouthfeel and generous, but not harsh, tannins with every sip.  This 2006 Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon is well suited for venison steaks and twice baked potatoes.
  • 93 points, Cellar Selection, Wine Enthusiast
2006 Mt. Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon 750ml
This 2006 Mount Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon is driven by its balanced acidity; due to the coolness of this elevated climate.  The wine exhibits good structure, shows rich purple color and has briary, brambly wild blackberry flavors, as well as hints of spice, pepper, and dried lavender, anise and sage.  This 2006 Mount Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon wonderfully complements a coffee and pepper rubbed rib roast served with au gratin potatoes.

Atlas Peak

Accolade Wines
Napa, CA
Atlas Peak was established in 1987. Over time it became clear that Atlas Peak’s most valuable hidden resource was literally underfoot: the elevation of its vineyards. The grapes growing at high elevation, and above the natural fog line, experience much lower daytime temperatures than those on the valley floor, allowing the grapes to stay cool while gaining maximum sun exposure. As a result, growers up on the mountain can afford to harvest later and pick for flavor with less worry about over ripening and excessive alcohol. No grape develops as well in mountain conditions as Cabernet Sauvignon.
Atlas Peak, Howell Mountain, Spring Mountain District, and Mount Veeder are the cornerstone mountain vineyards behind Atlas Peak’s Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon series. These mountain appellations frame the Napa Valley and provide ideal growing conditions for bold, well-structured wines.  Thin soils, lots of sunlight and cooler daytime temperatures force grapes to go into survival mode, building the character needed to make wines that express the rugged elegance which come from great fruit and hard work in hard-to-reach places.
