2013 Woot Cellars Vinitwo del Finito Late Harvest Zinfandel, Alexander Valley, 375ml 4-Pack

Nose of blackberry jam and candied figs with nutmeg and clove. Palate is broad with brandied cherry and cobbler, leather and cassis. Overall structure is big, magnified by the alcohol and driven by grape tannin and sweet Zinfandel character. This wine is loud and focused, but with a rough fringe of brambly character that sets northern Sonoma County Zinfandel apart. Tannin structure is deep and complex and a testament to the heritage of Alexander Valley's ability to build big-structure wines. Should lay down for 5-10 no problem. Tempted to say longer.
