2015 Mustache Merlot, Lodi
The aromas bring thoughts of fresh Bing cherry, raspberry, and strawberry combined with slight notes of vanilla and leather. It is a medium bodied, with nice layers of berry fruit, soft approachable tannins, and earthy structure with a good finish from balanced acidity; all of which lend themselves to good food and a good time. This wine could easily pair with cheese, pasta, red meat dishes, stew, chocolate, or as a stand alone glass of wine to be enjoyed.
The grapes come from Lodi, CA. Wine Enthusiast’s “Wine Regions of the Year, 2015.” The vineyards that benefit from the deep and rich soils that make-up the Lodi Appellation. The fruit benefits from warm sunny days and cool nights as a result of gentle breezes coming from the San Francisco Bay and the Delta waterways. This allows the fruit to mature and have a proper balance between fruit character and structure. The fruit was harvested at optimal ripeness and was crushed and fermented in stainless steel vessels. The wine was then aged in experienced barrels and allowed to age for twelve months. The blend was then created and prepared for bottling. It has produced a fresh fruity style wine.
2014 Mustache Zinfandel, Lodi
The wine has a deep cherry color. The aromas are fruit forward with candied raspberry and strawberry mixed with darker fresh fruits and subtle vanilla undertones. The wine has a full body with flavors of bright red raspberry, and cherry blended with jammy strawberry and a coco powder finish. The wine has several layers of fruit, soft tannin structure and along finish with balanced acidity. This wine would pair well with pasta, stews, steak, and cheese plates.

2015 Mustache Pinot Noir, California
The first thing to note with this wine is its bright cherry red color. The aromas begin with raspberry and blackberry bramble, mixed with vanilla bean, and clove. The entry is filled with crisp acidity and flavors of raspberry, strawberry and cranberry. The medium body gives way to spicier notes fresh sage, and dried thyme and coriander. This fruit forward wine is will complement any meal but especially if served with roasted chicken with Provincial herbs, Ahi tuna sashimi with a toasted sesame soy sauce, or pork medallion with a cherry compote glaze.

This white wine has a medium straw color with aromas of melons, sweet and tart apples, slight apricot and floral honey. The fresh crispness in the finish creates a great balance with the layers of fruit characters. It is a fresh white wine that can be spectacular with a variety of holiday foods as well as wonderful to enjoy on a sunny, crisp Fall day. It could be paired with turkey, ham, seafood, a wide range of fruits and mild cheeses – plus it works nicely with your pumpkin pie and fresh whipped cream.
2013 Mustache Vineyards Moscato, Lodi, California
This white wine has a bright gold hue with aromas of peach, apricot and melon mixed with rose and honey. The crisp acidity is paired with fresh fruit flavors of cantaloupe, honey, peach and hints of citrus and green apple. It is a fresh white wine that is great chilled on a hot summer day.
Food Pairing: It could be paired with poached salmon with asparagus and hollandaise sauce, or fried chicken that is chilled and served with a green bean salad, or even grilled peaches with fresh whipped cream.

2015 Mustache Vineyards Chardonnay, Lodi, California
This “un-oaked” Chardonnay has a brilliant golden straw color. The aroma has a blend of citrus and tropical notes that are vibrant and rich. The palate has creaminess from the Sur lie process – also you will find characteristics of melon, citrus fruit, apples and a slight bit of tropical fruit, on the nose and carrying through to the palate. The wine has a crisp freshness from a good balance of acidity. This wine would be delicious with grilled halibut with grilled peached compote, Chinese chicken salad with fresh Mandarin oranges, or barbequed ham with a pineapple glaze.
