2015 Woot Cellars Under the Mistletoe Red Blend
From the fruit forward aromas to the soft lengthy finish, this wine brings the aromas and flavors of cola, dark berries, plum, Christmas spices and toasted oak together for an easy drinking glass of wine. Medium tannins and bright acidity bring balance to the ripe fruitiness.
Vinification: 11 months in new and seasoned American oak barrels with 20% new oak. Working toward an approachable style, the time in oak softens the wine and adds complex layers to the finished product. The oak influence is nuanced and a supporting player by the judicious use of new oak blended with seasoned barrels.
