2012 Woot Cellars Help Yourself Cabernet Sauvignon, Paso Robles
The true character of this wine is immediately evident on the nose. It shows blackcurrant, hints of anise and subtle coffee bean aromas; all hallmarks of great Cabernet Sauvignon. The subtle, supporting oak allows the fruit to flourish, adding to both depth and complexity. Blackcurrant, in particular, carries right through the palate with hints of blueberries on the fringes. The palate has great length with firm, but ripe tannins, that complete a linear transition of flavours. The wine is rich and complex that will continue to reveal layers as it sits in the glass.
