2013 Washington Hills Riesling, Washington State
Aromas of nectarine, peach and honey weave together. The stone fruit character carries through on the palate, and is balanced with elegant acid and "off dry" sweetness (2.3% residual sugar).
Vintage: 2013 was another stellar harvest in Washington State. Some high temperatures during the growing season required careful attention in the vineyard to ensure the vines weren't water stressed. The Riesling grapes were grown in some cooler sites, with dramatic diurnal temperature swings, allowing the grapes to retain their natural acidity and elegant fruit character.
