2012 Vista Peak Cabernet Sauvignon 750ml 6-Pack

Vista Peak Cabernet Sauvignon is medium-bodied, offering cherry, cassis and ripe plum flavors that are complemented by a hint of spice and plush, supple tannins on the finish.

The grapes for this wine come from the road less traveled. They are from some of the most scenic and breathtaking views under the warm California sun. This allows the fruit to mature and have a proper balance between fruit character and structure. The fruit was harvested at optimal ripeness and was crushed and fermented in stainless steel vessels. The wine was then aged in experienced barrels and allowed to age for twelve months. The blend was then created and prepared for bottling.

The wine has more blue hues and resembles the color of a sofa in an old library. The aromas black cherry, blackberry, and plum are also noted with dark coco powder and fresh tobacco leaf. The wine has a medium bodied, with nice layers of black current, and a more pronounced tannin structure and balanced acidity. All of these elements combined, provide a wine that is complex and enjoyable. This wine would go well with grilled salmon with a dill butter sauce, roasted chicken with garlic and rosemary, or rib eye Philly cheese steak sandwich.
