That's what we thought, at least. But then we decided to test our theory by pickling everything in the office. It mostly went ok, except that some of our coworkers were really mad when they got home and found out that all their house keys were back at the office immersed in a jar of pickle brine. Our advice: only pickle foods and always ask before you submerge someone's house keys in pickle brine.
