You never know where life will take you.
The Moran Manor winery got its start when John Moran’s poor sleep-deprived parents were driving around trying to get him to fall asleep. Instead of a pacified toddler they got a Victorian home nestled in Knights Valley. Smitten by the home and its “For Sale” sign, they jumped on it.
And now here they are with their very own Moran Manor Knights Valley Red 3-Pack, with two bottles of 2006 Anagram and one bottle of the 2005 vintage. It’s handmade by friends of the family, and it features a smooth, velvety texture with a bold red flavor finishing with notes of leather and anise. It’s ready to drink decanted right now, or you could stow it in your cellar and wait a bit too.
Which just goes to show that you never know where a night with a screaming baby could take you. Sure, it will probably just take you to whatever that place is where you’re tired, bleary-eyed, and hating life at work the next day. But hey, you could just wind up with a winery.
