This is Broc Cellars first vintage making Eaglepoint Ranch Grenache from Mendocino. It was fermented 20% whole cluster with a small addition of Syrah to add some color and to round out the typical Grenache tannins. Meatier in style than the Cassia Grenache, with notes of black pepper, smoke, and game. A solid acid backbone makes this wine a perfect complement to all kinds of barbecue pork.
