2008 Hangtime Central Coast Chardonnay 750ml 2-Pack
Along California’s cool Central Coast, Chardonnay grapes can take their time ripening. This results in the slow, steady development of pure fruit balanced by natural acidity. Hangtime Wines enhance the character of these grapes by fermenting the wine in oak barrels to contribute a creamy mouthfeel and beautiful notes of spice and toast.
2006 Dry Creek Valley, Mounts Vineyard Syrah 750ml 2-Pack
2006 was an outstanding red wine vintage for Dry Creek Valley. A summer cooler than normal and a mild harvest prolonged by a week of rain in early October allowed Hangtime Wines' Mounts Vineyard Syrah grapes to hang on the vine for 124 days developing intense, balanced fruit flavors. Hangtime winemaker, Tony Coltrin, aged the wine for 18 months in both new and used French oak barrels. The combination of wood adds toasty vanilla and savory spice tones to the wine’s lush, meaty, black fruit flavors.
2010 Force Canyon Vineyard, Pinot Noir 750ml 2-Pack
The grapes for Hangtime 2010 Arroyo Seco Force Canyon Pinot Noir were on the vine for an average of 124 days, developing intense, balanced fruit flavors. Hangtime winemaker, Tony Coltrin, aged the wine in 100% French oak barrels, 33% new, for seven months to add roundness and a zesty spice tone. Cool-climate viticulture, extended hangtime and careful winemaking have combined to produce a rich Pinot Noir with lovely ripe fig and rose petal aromas, supple blackberry and red raspberry flavors, and a long, lingering finish. Enjoy it with grilled salmon, rosemary chicken, baked ham, marinated lamb chops and lighter pastas.

The longer the time on the vine, the more concentrated the fruit character, resulting in wines of distinctive, delicious varietal expression. Winemaker Tony Coltrin works hand-in-hand with nature to decide exactly how many days on the vine grapes need for perfect ripening. The grapes for this 2008 Chardonnay, on average, hung on the vine for 130 days.
