Features
2007 Pinot Noir, Zena Crown Vineyard, Eola – Amity Hills 750ml 2-Pack
The Pinot Noir at Zena Crown Vineyard ripened to perfection during the warm seasonal growing conditions of the 2007 vintage. Following harvest in the cooler hours of the morning, the fruit was gently sorted and destemmed without crushing. Whole sorted berries then underwent prolonged cold soak, followed by gentle fermentation in small batches. The resulting wine was dense and deeply colored. Eleven months of reductive élevage in French oak barrels enhanced the breed and tempered the youthful brashness of the wine. This personality-driven blend shows great intensity of fruit together with fantastic weight and density in the mouth.
