Chez OHNOYOUDIDN'T
***** Review posted on 2/26/2013
I don't usually do reviews, but I had such a terrible experience at this restaurant, I felt it my duty to let the public know what kind of people they have working there.
So last Thursday I decide I'll treat myself to a nice dinner out. Well, it was clear from the get-go that they weren't used to an attractive older woman dining alone because they looked shocked when I asked for a table for one.
Anyway, I sit down and ask the waiter for a recommendation for a good wine. Something with blackberry and plum favors, perhaps? Or maybe something with fig, elderberry and clove that pairs well with salmon or other grilled meats.
What happened next caught me so off guard, I didn't know what to say. He said, "I think a Cougar Crest Syrah would be PERFECT for you." And then he winked. I was stunned, and very offended to say the least. And if it wasn't for those bacon and truffle aromas, as well as his masterfully sculpted 20-year-old physique, I'd have a mind to go back and tell him so.
