Inky dark purple, in color the wine has an elegant nose that begins with blueberries and blackberries. Fruit gives way to cocoa, smoke, tar, and vanilla. On the palate, notes of pencil shavings and black pepper integrate with the chewy, dusty tannins. The acidity in the long, pleasant finish balances the tannins and ends with lingering Bing cherry notes.

Winemakers endeavor to create consistency for their varietals year after year.  C.G. Di Arie Vineyard succeeded.  As with the 2006 Vintage, this wine is inky dark purple and has an elegant nose that begins with blueberries and blackberries. C.G. Di Arie 2008 Petite Sirah, Estate Grown 750ml

Very similar to the 2006 and 2007 vintages, this wine is inky dark purple in color with aromas of blueberries, blackberries and a hint of smoke which carries to the palate adding cocoa and coffee flavors. The long and sustained finish has more smoky and savory flavors with hints of black pepper and espresso coffee. This is an elegant wine with lots of tannins giving a strong structure with a perfect balance.
