Last of the Summer Wine
Let's do this. One last spree before sunset. A final frolic in the heat and haze. The next time we meet like this, the breezes will be cooler, the leaves will be redder, and the harvest will be almost ripe. It's the last Wine-Off of the summer. And we don't intend to waste it.
Features
2010 White Blend, Central Coast 750ml Case
This off-dry blend of Pinot Grigio, White Riesling, and Chardonnay exhibits floral and mineral notes, has good acidity, and a crisp finish. The fruit was pressed and cold settled, then racked very clean into stainless steel fermenters to enhance varietal and fruit expression. It was fermented slowly at low temperatures with minimal winemaking intervention.

Ballard Lane
- Location:
- Paso Robles, CA
The Ballard Lane portfolio of wines exemplifies the finest aspects of life on California’s Central Coast.
By virtue of its name, the Central Coast appellation conjures up images of seaside towns unfolding throughout the middle of the Golden State. In addition to pristine beaches, dramatic coastal vistas and brine-kissed sea breezes, this appellation also offers up redwood forest groves, rich agricultural fields, Arabian horse ranches, ancient oak groves and countless gorgeous, well-cared for farms.
Life in the Central Coast is not slow-paced, mind you. There are dreams to be had. Wine to be made. Territories to be explored and business to be done. You might say that life on the Central Coast is paced just right; the lifestyle here, like the best of our wines, is balanced, harmonious and memorable. Once you have visited the Central Coast; really allowed it to inform and get under your skin, you’ll want to keep coming back.
Vineyards
The Ballard Lane portfolio of wines possesses quite a bit of personality. This might very well be a reflection of the Central Coast family who farms the fruit for this program. They have been on the Central Coast for generations, with vineyards in several counties and appellations. Their dedication to the soils of the Central Coast and the people who farm them, are reflected in each bottle of Ballard Lane wine.
