The sound of someone slowly going insane. Wait, that is just me.
Still single, can't imagine why.

That's actually what you hear when you hold a seashell to your ear. People SAY it's your heartbeat, but they lie.

I've never heard anything close to a heartbeat in a seashell.
Still single, can't imagine why.

If I don't hear anything does that mean I'm already crazy or going partially deaf?
I'm just hanging out, really.

Inky, that makes me giggle! Elsewhere on Monday, I commented that I needed to pay better attention to the volume of my at work music--I turned it on when I got in, early, and it was quiet--I failed to realize my music was VERY loud, loud enough to block out the noise of people around me. A friend shared this story:
Long ago and far away, I was once a graphic designed for a small-town newspaper. My job was fast-paced and time-limited, so I often used loud, driven music to pace my work. One day, I felt a tap on my arm from the young lady next to me, a kind and generous Christian family woman, with a most distressed look on her face. I took my headphones off. "You're singing under your breath," she said, clearly deeply disturbed. I apologized, then put one ear-cup back on: I'd been singing under my breath the main chorus sample from Ministry's Golden Dawn, and thus basically had been whispering over and over and over to myself the words, "The anti-christ, the anti-christ, the anti-christ..."

Best story of the thread!
Related, I was commenting to a friend earlier today I needed to be very careful to not sing along out loud with the very NSFW lyrics of Amanda Palmer while in my cube.
Harder than it looks.

I have taken some songs off my play list for that reason. I doubt anyone around me would care, but don't want to find out otherwise!

Yeaaaaaah, Map of Tasmania may have to hit the 'home only' play list.
Side note: seen this artist twice. Always a show of awesome.
