2006 Oat Hill Estate, Zinfandel 750ml 2-Pack
Zahtila Vineyards' Estate Zinfandel is produced from grapes grown on their 28 year old 2 acre hillside vineyard planted to St. George rootstock. The nose exudes soft caramel and sweet raspberry with a touch of white pepper. The American Oak influence frames the fruit in a very food friendly manner. The silky mouth feel and soft, lingering finish beg to be paired with your favorite roasted meat. Definitively approachable for a 2006 vintage as compared to the cellar friendly nature of the 2005’s.
