2011 Rolling Stones Forty Licks Merlot 750ml 3-Pack

To capture the essence of Forty Licks, the 40 tracks that cover the Rolling Stone’s career, Winemaker Mark Beaman chose to work with Merlot. This varietal captures the comfort of turning to a solid classic that stands the test of time. Much like the band itself, Mendocino County winemaking stays true to its roots with a consistent and confident character not caught up in fads or trends.

With The Rolling Stones Forty Licks blasting in the cellar, our Winemaker crafted this custom Merlot from premium Mendocino County fruit, blending a one-of-a-kind wine with Rock ‘ Roll mythology Flavors of raspberry and strawberry with black cherry and a spicy finish.

2010 The Police - Synchronicity Red Wine Blend 750ml 3-Pack

Aromas of fresh rose petals and wild berries. Flavors of juicy strawberry, bright raspberry, with a lush lingering finish. a delicious, approachable, and very food friendly wine.

Quite literally, this wine represents and manifests the notion of “Synchronicity” as it was interpreted by The Police with their classic album and this wine’s namesake.

Simply put, “to count as synchronicity, the events should be unlikely to occur together by chance”.
While listening to the album, Mark noticed a clear theme of light and dark - or as the Rolling Stone Magazine reviewer wrote, “it is an album of shimmering surfaces and glacial shadows”. From a distance the music is pop-like, romantic and has many bright melodies. If you listen closely to the lyrics, you will notice dark, heavy, and sometimes sinister themes of obsession, jealousy, yearning and anxiety.

The term Synchronicity, Sting’s magnetic vocals and the theme of light and dark in the music were the main influences on Mark while making the wine. Synchronicity as a meaningful mix of seemingly unrelated events resulting in a significant sum lead Mark to a red wine blend of varieties not commonly seen together. The playful, seductive, and haunting union of Carignane, Zinfandel, Syrah, Petite Sirah, Grenache and Viognier make this wine a compelling and delicious study.

2011 Grateful Dead Red Blend, Mendocino County 750ml 3-Pack

To capture the essence of the live energy of the Grateful Dead’s Steal Your Face, Winemaker Mark Beaman chose to meld several varieties into one. Just as the band members would segue through various musical styles, this wine's far reaching flavors melt seamlessly from one to the next, blending Syrah, Petite Sirah, Zinfandel & Grenache. In honor of the band’s famous improvisational concerts that have brought joy to so many, this wine celebrates Mendocino County’s bounty of diversity and freedom of experimentation.

With the Grateful Dead echoing in the cellar, our winemaker crafted this red wine blend from premium Mendocino County fruit, blending a one-of a kind wine with Rock ‘n Roll Mythology.

A distinctively unique mix of black cherries & peppered bacon with a v-e-l-v-e-t-y vanilla and caramel finish. Pair with hearty steak, BBQ Ribs, pasta with red sauce or ripe brie aged cheese.

2011 Pink Floyd's The Dark Side of the Moon Cabernet Sauvignon, Mendocino County 750ml 3-Pack

Studying Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon, Winemaker Mark Beaman ventured into new territory in wine making by using elements of the music to guide the winemaking process. To capture the intense brooding character of The Dark Side of the Moon, Mark turned to the classic wine variety Caberent Sauvignon to reflect the complex and timeless character of this masterpiece album.

With Pink Floyds classic Dark Side of the Moon echoing in the cellar, our winemaker crafted this custom Cabernet Sauvingnon from premium Mendocino County fruit blending one-of-a-kind wine with rock ‘n roll mythology. Aromas of black currant and cherry are followed by rich flavors of cassis, toasted vanilla bean, and hints of chocolate.
