Owner:
Deborah and Steve De Long
Location:
North Las Vegas, NV

The husband and wife team of Deborah and Steve De Long combined their mutual enthusiasm for both wine and design when they started work on the Wine Grape Varietal Table over 4 years ago. Originally visual people by trade - Deborah, a home fashion designer and Steve, an architect - the table helped them to make sense of the vast and often confusing world of wine grape varieties. Over the past four years they have conducted extensive research and tastings in compiling it.

Both raised in families who love wine, and developed an early appreciation. Deborah was born in England and grew up in Hong Kong where her father served and collected fine clarets. She attended Manchester Metropolitan University, UK. Steve grew up in Oregon wine country where he developed a taste for Pinot Noir. He attended Washington University in St. Louis and Columbia University in New York.

Somewhere between the first and second editions, a future wine lover - Leo De Long - was born. Sources have it that Leo was conceived in the Château de Coulaine thanks to the fine wines of Chinon.
