2012 Upstream Cabernet Franc, Walker River, Lodi Appellation 750ml
Aromas: Violets, green tea, jasmine and rosewater intertwine with notes of blueberry.
Palate: Ripe blueberry, succulent cherry and a touch of sweet blackberry blend with hints of eucalyptus.
Cellaring: Harvested in the warm days of early October. These hand-picked grapes were fermented in our 3600 gallon stainless steel tanks for 7 days on D254 yeast. From there they went through our Pera press and onto our French oak aging process for seven months.
2012 Upstream Malbec, Owens River, Lodi Appellation 750ml
Aromas: Fresh blueberries and blackberries mingle with hints of leather and spice, forest floor, wet stone and rose petal.
Palate: Medium acidity, as tannins join in sync with jammy plum, cherry and tobacco. A slight hint of oak creates a round mouth feel.
Cellaring: Harvested in the warm days of early October. These hand-picked grapes were fermented in our 3600 gallon stainless steel tanks for 7 days on L2226 yeast. From there they went through our Pera press and onto our French oak aging process for ten months.
2012 Upstream Zinfandel, Mokelumne River, Lodi Appellation 750ml
Aromas: Ripe cherry, blackberry and hints of allspice.
Palate: Nice acidity with notes of cherry, baking spices and blackberry.
Cellaring: Harvested in the warm days of late September. These hand-picked grapes were fermented in our 3600 gallon stainless steel tanks for 7 days on D254 yeast. From there they went through our Pera press and onto our American oak aging process for nine months.
2012 Upstream Cabernet Sauvignon, Truckee River, Lodi Appellation 750ml
Aromas: Black cherry, and plum with hints of red roses and clove.
Palate: Black cherry, plum and blueberry with hints of vanilla oak.
Cellaring: Harvested in the cool days of late October. These hand-picked grapes were fermented in our 3600 gallon stainless steel tanks for 7 days on D254 yeast. From there they went through our Pera press and onto our French oak aging process for nine months.
