We set out to find diamonds in the rough.
Northern California, known as “wine country,” is home to one of the finest wine growing regions in the world. With over 400 wineries, and many more winemakers, located north of San Francisco, hundreds of incredible wines go undiscovered. We set out to find some of these lovely jewels and bring them to you.
We’ve stumbled upon some true gems. Amazing small lots of wine, with exquisite flavor profiles—lovely bouquets, smooth on the palate, toasty oaks—which all leave one to question: What just happened here? This is not a trick. Do not be fooled. These are truly amazing finds. Excellent wine. Excellent price. Handpicked.

This bouquet favors sarsaparilla and vanilla bean with wild raspberry and brandied cherry on the palate with a distinct cranberry finish. Don’t be fooled by this dark & mysterious red blend. This is a superior Napa County Red Wine.

Rainier Wine was launched in 2004 when Damian Davis began selling wine out of the back of his car to local Seattle merchants. Since then, we’ve become a fully operational winery with over 100,000 cases in annual sales. Based in Seattle, Washington, Rainier Wine maintains a portfolio of wine labels, such as Mad Housewife, Diversion, Besitos, Portlandia, and other project in the works.
The team at Rainier Wine recognizes that wine should never intimidate, make you think too hard, or create a new line item in your budget. Above all else, wine should be fun, relaxing, and something you can afford to look forward to at the end of each and every day.
