summer!
Pairs Well With: This miserable terrible summer heat that stretches on forever.
Drink This and You Become: Thirsty...FOR ADVENTURE???!!!!
The only way to make this better would be: If it could dispute bogus charges on your cable bill.
Whatever You Do, Don’t Spill This On: The treasure map that pirate left on your table during that last dinner party. Where did that guy come from, anyway? Did you find him through Meetup or something?
Don't drink this: Before the big volleyball tournament.
Features
2012 Riesling, Morrison Lane Vineyard, Suisun Valley 750ml 3-Pack
This straw-colored beauty shows the brilliantly clean, racy acidity of a true-blue Riesling that provides flinty fresh fruit flavors with a juicy mid-palate adding strength and purpose to the citrus, peach, wildflower and mineral flavors. This food pairing wonder lends itself to a myriad of delectable possibilities: traditional Latkes, Moo-Shu Pork, Fish and Chips, Greek Salad, Oysters on the half-shell, red curry, artichoke dip, gingerbread cookies, salmon sushi, carrot cake, Gouda cheese, Hawaiian pizza with Canadian bacon and pineapple, potato soup and apple pie. Hungry yet?
2013 Gewurztraminer, Dempel Vineyard, Mendocino County 750ml 3-Pack
Flamboyant aromas of lychees, gardenias, mandarin orange and allspice waft up from the glass followed by exotic flavors of quince, lime, and guava spiced with honey and caraway seed. The vibrant, rich palate is accentuated with fine mineral notes and crisp acidity leading into a long, clean finish. With just a hint of sweetness, this Gewurztraminer offsets the spice in Asian cuisine. It also goes well with clam chowder, Münster cheese, smoked salmon, lobsters, French onion soup, brie, grilled asparagus spears, and spinach salad.
2012 Sauvignon Blanc Russian River Valley, Sonoma County 750ml 3-Pack
Steve Sagehorn's Russian River Valley Sauvignon Blanc is a medium bodied dry and fruity white Bordeaux. It's delicious on its own as well as the perfect complement to salads and light flaky fish. Also great with any light, savory first course. A lively nose of kiwi and pink grapefruit leads to a grassy, flinty citrus ensemble on the palate. Clean and appetizing, this wine cleanses and whets the palate at the same time.
2012 Chardonnay, Russian River Valley, Sonoma County 750ml 3-Pack
The Poole’s beautiful Chardonnay vineyard on Willowside Road in the Russian River Valley never disappoints with its near-perfect ripening every year. This true to varietal Chardonnay was barrel fermented, Sur Lie and barrel aged for 10 months. Expressing mixed melons and citrus flavors while balanced with light oak and a creamy malo-lactic finish.

Suncé is Croatian for Sun, the source of all things wonderful.
Suncé, established in 1991, is located just off of River Road on Olivet Road in the heart of the Russian River Valley. A small ultra-premuim winery producing small lots of rare varietals, vineyard designates and classic blends. Quality is preferred over quantity; each release is limited, sometimes to 200 cases or less and many are pre-sold through barrel futures.
Suncé Winery, meaning "sun" in Serbo-Croatian, is located on one of the oldest roads in Sonoma County. Where olive trees once dominated the landscape, century old head pruned vines now quietly assert their beauty. Nestled in this serene environment, Sunce Winery provides a tranquil, romantic, yet down-to-earth atmosphere. Enjoy a picnic on the deck and play a game or two of bocce ball. Stroll the estate Pinot Noir Vineyard and if you see Frane (the wine maker) hanging around ask him to take you to his barrels.
