2010 Vaquero Chardonnay 750ml 4-Pack
 
With its label and fruit-driven, food-friendliness, this release pays homage to the Salvadorian heritage of the Stein's Family's matriarch, Cath. Produced in steel, this wine harkens back to a different style of Chardonnay, one where the leaner, non-buttery, unoaked wine is the focus and is accented by a little bit of Sauvignon Blanc's vibrancy. The bouquet is tropical but light--more citrus blossom in essence. The mouthfeel is medium-weight, with notes of apple, pear, stone fruits and a long minerally finish. All steel fermentation plus 12% Sauvignon Blanc recreates the limestone effect as seen in France. As with all Just Joshin wines, they made it for food, and priced it for every meal. It has a higher acidity so you can easily pair it with a wide range of foods.

Yes, others give a percentage of their profits, but we guarantee the kids see the money whether we're profitable or not.
 
Why? Because we don't want to make a future for our kids on the backs of others'. It's really that simple. We want our kids to see that we can create a future for them, and that part of doing so must be rooted in the community; there is no longer-term sustainability without that. Our goal is to change the wine business one bottle, one glass, one customer at a time. Why? Because fair is fair.
