We take you to the town of Haro in Rioja, which boasts a rich tradition of ignoring wine's primary raison d'être.
You know what happens every year in Rioja? The locals have a big party, and they squirt red wine (Rioja, believe it or not) at each other.
What a quaint image.
How provincial.
Except for the part where your clothes are covered with red wine. (We'll ignore the bit where 13,000 gallons of DELICIOUS DRINKABLE WINE are thrown onto your person rather than poured into your desperate mouth. That's an affront to save for another day.) The wacky people of Rioja, with their bucolic history and rustic customs, have riujned your outfit.

Features
A straw yellow color with greenish hues. Fruity and floral aromas. In the mouth it is light and extremely fresh. This very appealing wine should be drunk while it is still young.
The Winemaking Process: The grapes are lightly pressed after being separated from their stalks and the grape must then spends two days in stainless steel tanks at 4ºC. It is then cleared and fermented for 20 days at 17ºC.

Bodegas Estraunza is an average sized familiy wine-making business that puts greater emphasis on traditional techniques rather than industrial ones. With a capacity for one million liters, it has production facilities equipped with 30 stainless steel tanks for controlled fermentation and a barrel cellar housing 1,500 oak barrels used for aging the wine.
The Winery started off with wines produced from the carbonic maceration of the Tempranillo grape. In September of 1992 it presented its first Crianza: Solar de Estraunza, 1989 vintage. In 1995, it presented its first Reserva Solar de Estraunza, and in 1997, the first Gran Reserva Solar de Estraunza.
