2014 Raywood Vineyards Chardonnay, Central Coast
This lush Chardonnay contains tropical hints of melon and peaches giving way to a warm and mild oak finish. Enjoy with a nice array of cheeses and fruits, or a fresh fish entree or just sip a glass as you watch the sun set over your favorite view.
Raywood Vineyards: Located in the beautiful valleys of California’s Central Coast, Raywood Vineyards presents wine distinctive in character taking care to show the subtle nuances of each variety produced.
One of the oldest wineries in the Paso Robles AVA, Castoro Cellars is said to have taken the backwards approach to developing a brand. They began making wine in the early 1980s, and, over the course of the next ten years, bought equipment and opened a tasting room. The winery site was purchased in 1991, and within the past decade, existing vineyards were purchased and new vineyards planted.
