2013 Ranch 32 Cabernet Sauvignon, Monterey 750ml 6-Pack
Our 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon wows with a rich, juicy core of concentrated blackberry and black raspberry flavors framed by perfectly integrated tannins. Strong yet supple, the complex layers unfold into a long, savory finish.
Nestled on the west side of the fertile valley lies our Ranch 32, where warm sunny days are tempered by the cool coastal conditions of Monterey County. This environment allows the fruit to hang on the vine and develop complex flavors and intense varietal character.
Winemaking: Upon arrival at the winery, the grapes were destemmed, crushed, and fermented in open top fermenters. Next the firm cap of skins and seeds that bubble up and form on the surface during red fermentation was gently circulated several times a day. The circulation process gives the skins as much contact with the fermenting wine as possible, allowing the color and the phenols from the skins to be transferred to the wine. After a 10-day fermentation in stainless tanks, the wine was aged with a
combination of 65% French and 35% American oak to round out and soften the rich, black fruit flavors.

At Ranch 32, we seek to showcase the natural character of each wine. Our estate grown grapes are harvested at the peak of sugar ripeness, acidity and aroma so that each wine is a true expression of the varietal and vintage.
