Bolstered by candy cane columns.

"Alright, Patterson family. You haven't seen your home since the Tool Network Hostile Home Makeover Takeover started four months ago. Are you ready for the big reveal?"

"We're really nervous, Bob, but ready!"

"Oookay … remove the blindfolds!"

...

...

...

"Well, Pattersons, what do you think?!"

"Bob, did you and your builders just floor our new home using gourmet chocolate?"

"That's right! Luxurious chocolate tiles!"

"It's everywhere. It goes from the master bedroom and straight to the bath."

"That's correct, Pam! Do you know what we call it?"

"No."

"The EN SWEET!"

"You'll be hearing from our attorney."

Poco Dolce Artisanal Chocolate Tile Assortment

Perfecting the combination of salt and dark chocolate since 2003, Poco Dolce’s signature Bittersweet Chocolate Tiles are the art of sweet and savory.  Each Tile is crafted by hand using only the finest all-natural ingredients, with its own unique inclusions and finished with a pinch of Grey Sea Salt.

Based in San Francisco, Poco Dolce’s mission is to stay on the savory side of sweet.

The Tile Assortment contains the following flavors:

Burnt Caramel Toffee - tastes like the top of a creme brulee or the outside of a toasted marshmallow

Aztec Chile - a blend of cinnamon and two chiles with the crunch of toasted pumpkin seeds goes back to the original South American spices used in the first chocolates

Almond - simply a classic with our double roasted almonds contrasting with the chocolate and Grey Sea Salt

Ginger - crystallized bits of ginger, just strong enough to hold its own with our blend of bittersweet chocolate

Owner:
Kathy Wiley
Founded:
2003
Location:
San Francisco, CA

Poco Dolce Confections was started by Kathy Wiley in 2003 as a small San Francisco baking company specializing in regional Italian pastries. Within a year, she discovered a passion for creating hand-made chocolates with unique and exciting flavors. Having a predilection for more savory foods, Kathy experimented by finishing a piece of bittersweet chocolate with a sprinkling of Grey Sea Salt (also known as Sel Gris.) Poco Dolce's bittersweet chocolate Tiles were born.

The name - Poco Dolce - literally translates from Italian as "not too sweet" or "just a little sweet." Applying this idea to their products, Poco Dolce's ongoing mission is to stay on the "savory side of sweet."

What are Top Comments?

Top Comments are discussion forum posts we have deemed worthy of your time. Listen, we get a lot of comments, and most of the time, it's pretty forgettable stuff; but sometimes you rise to the top like butterfat in milk. We don't recommend you base your self-worth on how often we feature your comments, but we don't expressly forbid it either.
