A good wine can really change your outlook.
When I logged in to Wine dot Woot
I licked my lips,
“What will it be?”
“Will it be pretty?”
“Well, I’m not rich.”
That’s when it came to me
Drink Syrah, Syrah
It comes in a pack of three
A wine made of pure beauty
Drink Syrah, Syrah
Verticality
The 2005 has notes of plum
It’s a real sweetheart
Of a Syrah
That year had rainfall
Day after day
One sip and you’ll say “ah,”
Drink Syrah, Syrah
It comes in a pack of three
A wine made of pure beauty
Drink Syrah, Syrah
Verticality
Now I have bottles of my own
'06 and '07
“What will it be?”
“Will I decant them?”
“Should they just sit?”
Either way I’m happy

Sweet aromas of boysenberry and blueberry preserves, dark chocolate and freshly ground espresso beans are graced with lovely notes of cedar, vanilla, dried herbs and damp forest floor. Rich and intense flavors of ripe, juicy blackberries and boysenberries engulf the palate in cascading layers of tangy fruit and cassis, with nuances of caramel, cigar box and white pepper spice. Plush and well structured, with a core of firm yet very supple tannins. Saving the best for last, an amazingly persistent finish, vibrant and silky, leaves a lingering sensation of having just enjoyed a mouthful of fresh wild berries. Delightful!
