It's time for another installment of Learnin' Eye-Talian with Wine.Woot!
È questo l'ingresso al museo?
Is this the entrance to the museum?
Ma questo è solo un vicolo buio.
But this is just a darkened alley.
Scultura? In America abbiamo semplicemente chiamiamo questo un cassonetto.
Sculpture? In America we simply call this a dumpster.
Exhibit? Chiedo scusa, ma questo è solo un grande topo.
Exhibit? I beg your pardon, but that's just a very large rat.
Sto iniziando molto a dubitare questo è un museo.
I'm starting very much to doubt this is a museum.
Mi dispiace darvi tutti quei soldi per l'ammissione.
I regret giving you all that money for admission.
Dov'è andato?
Where did he go?

2002 Parducci Petite Sirah 750ml 3-Pack
Parducci Wine Cellars was one of California’s first bottlers of a varietal Petite Sirah. It’s been a hallmark wine for the winery and Mendocino County. The 2002 Petite Sirah has a dense, opaque purple/black color and aromas of black cherry, plum and black pepper, with hints of leather and oak spice.
Vintage: For Petite Sirah, the long, warm 2002 growing season ended perfectly: with a heat wave that put this beefy variety over the top in ripeness. Cool temperatures and slow ripening throughout the summer allowed the grapes to reach maturity without any overripe character. When the September heat hit the North Coast, sugar levels rose rapidly, and the grapes had already developed intense flavors. Our Petite Sirah ended up balanced and approachable, without the higher alcohol levels that some red wines developed.
Vineyards: Petite Sirah has been growing in popularity for some time, and we now have to look to vineyards outside of Mendocino County to satisfy the demand. The 2003 vintage is blended from grapes grown in the warm northern San Joaquin Valley (65%) around Lodi, and older, established Mendocino County vineyards (35%).
